Title race heating up!

The title race is currently wide open for any of the top four to take advantage.

This season looks like it could be one of the most exciting seasons in a very long time. The top % currently split by six points. Man city sit in fourth, Aston Villa in third, Liverpool in second, and Arsenal two points clear in first. Any of these teams could take advantage and push on to win the league.

Aston Villa have just beat Manchester City to over take them in the league and push into them champions league spots. This weekend we have another cracker as Aston Villa look tom take points off Arsenal, which Liverpool could look to benefit off as they are craving that top spot.

If a football fan is telling you who they think are going to win the league, we can confirm they are definitely guessing because it currently impossible to put your money on who is going to win the league, this is because the last time the top 5 were this close was in the 2015/16 season, and we all know who won the league that year.

We have to take a moment to congratulate Unai Emery on what he has done at Aston Villa because he has improved them as a team so much since he took over last year when they seemed to be in trouble. They now sit third in the league in the champions league spot after dominating the treble winners in Manchester City, which in itself is a huge achievement because it shows that not only are they quality but that they are also fearless.

Liverpool are another team that have stepped up this year after they fell down the table last year. We all know the quality Liverpool have and what the have achieved over the past six years, however last season they needed a rebuild of their midfield because they started to ship goals to many teams that would never had in the previous season. A lot of football fans would never have put Liverpool at where they are in the table after the previous season and the state of the midfield and having to refurbish it fully. It just goes to show how good of a Manager Jurgen Klopp is in getting Liverpool to perform to these levels once again with a completely new midfield.

Manchester City is a big surprise to most people because they have seen to fallen slightly off the gas in the past three weeks, it may not be worrying to a lot of fans however it could be a sign of more things to come, They currently have failed to win in their past four games after drawing three and loosing their most recent match to bang inform Aston Villa.

Arsenal keep grinding results out as they go on, which is a sign of good things because if you are winning when you are not playing well means it can only get better, they sit top of the league by two points with a trip to Aston Villa on the weekend, if they can find a win away at Aston Villa, that will be one of the most impressive wins for them so far this season because it will be one of their hardest away games for the whole season, and this is proven by Aston Villas home form as they seem to be unbeatable.

The most exciting this for us football fans is that we are not even at the half way point in the season yet. The build up to Christmas has tones in store for us with two massive games coming up just before Christmas where we get to see Manchester United travel to Anfield to attempt to pick up their first win there in many years, which will be a great watch for the neutrals. We then get probably the biggest game of the season so far in Liverpool vs Arsenal at Anfield on the 23rd of Christmas. It looks like whoever wins this game will probably be top at Christmas, there is just so much lying on this game and we cant wait.

You never know what is going to happen in the Premier League, and with the way Aston Villa are looking this season gives some people the idea we may get to see another Leicester type story, however that would be a big ask with the quality of Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool all battling it out at the top of the table. Fans are tired of seeing Manchester City Run away with it or a two horse race between them and Liverpool so the fact it could be a four way race is a thrilling idea to football fans.
