A Knockout in 69 seconds!

Tom Aspinall knocks out Sergei Pavlovich in 69 seconds.

At UFC 295 in Maddison Square Gardens we got to see Tom Aspinall win by K'O 69 seconds into the first round to become the 3rd British UFC title holder in history.

Tom Aspinall took the fight on 17 days notice and when he won the fight he broke down into tears and made a speech to crowd. Aspinall has opened up how it became extremely hard for him after that leg brake and didn't know whether it was his time to retire or not with such a nasty leg brake. Aspinall then went onto state that he was the 'best in the world', which might not fall lightly with Jon Jones.

Aspinall has made the following comments about fighting Jon Jones;" He's in the top two greatest ever. Of course I want to test myself before my career's over - but more importantly, before his career's over. He has also referred to his fight as his dream fight, in which he said "Give me my dream fight," he implored. "Let me fight for my legacy, please".

However at this moment in time Jon Jones is injured after a tendon tore of the bone while training recently, which could possibly put him out till next summer and Dana White is keen on a fight between Jones and Miocic when he his back to full fitness, before the possibility is given for a fight between Aspinall and Jones. This could mean that Cyril Gane could be on the cards for a possible opponent for Aspinall before he gets the chance to take on Jon Jones, and in a recent social media post Cyril Gane called out Aspinall after his win in a tweet where he congratulated him on his win but then followed that up with a comment where he says 'you are being pursued, I am the hunter. See you soon".

So after another action packed weekend in the UFC which gave us a new champion. The UFC fans can't wait to see what's up next in the Heavyweight division, but first there is a very big fight night on December 16th, where we will see the likes of Paddy the Baddy, Leon Edwards, Colby Covington, Ian McGarry, Tony Ferguson and many more!
